MSC Meraviglia to pierwszy z dwóch bliźniaczych statków, które powstały w stoczni STX France. Druga jednostka zostanie zwodowana w 2019 roku. Dodatkowo do 2022 roku MSC Cruises planuje zbudować jeszcze dwa statki klasy Meraviglia.
Swój pierwszy sezon MSC Meraviglia spędzi na zachodnim Morzu Śródziemnym, odbywając rejsy z możliwością wejścia na pokład w trzech portach: Genui, Marsylii i Barcelonie. MSC Meraviglia będzie mogła zawijać do każdego portu wycieczkowego na świecie.
MSC Meraviglia to nowoczesny, zaawansowany technologicznie statek, na którego pokładzie znajdzie się wiele innowacyjnych usług. Wśród nowości – „komunikacja bezprzewodowa krótkiego zasięgu”, a także aplikacje mobilne i możliwość korzystania z inteligentnych urządzeń na pokładzie. Dzięki tym rozwiązaniom podróżni będą mogli komunikować się z innymi pasażerami, planować swój dzień lub wybierać ulubione wydarzenia. Ponadto za pomocą nowych technologii będzie można opłacać rachunki, otwierać kabinę, śledzić lokalizację swoich dzieci, a także odnaleźć znajomych. A kolejną imponującą nowością jest to, że sufit krytego pasażu będzie wykonany w formie ogromnego ekranu LED o powierzchni 480 m². Podobny do cyfrowego nieba ekran będzie wyświetlał różnorodne obrazy, tworząc wyjątkową atmosferę zarówno w dzień, jak i w nocy.
Każda chwila rejsu na statkach MSC Cruises jest jasna i niezapomniana. Rozrywki na każdy gust – od zajęć sportowych i relaksu w wspaniałym spa po ekscytujące, pełne emocji wieczorne widowiska. On board all MSC liners, there are free children's miniclubs where you can leave your children (from 3 to 17 years old) under the supervision of tutors. There are special programs designed for three age groups:

Program wydarzeń na każdy dzień jest publikowany w specjalnej mini broszurze, która dostarczana jest do kabiny wieczorem, dzień przed kolejnym dniem rejsu. Programy rozrywkowe na statku różnią się w zależności od trasy rejsu i sezonu: karaoke, zajęcia taneczne z instruktorami, specjalne wykłady na różne tematy edukacyjne, wyprzedaże biżuterii i innych produktów oraz wiele więcej.
Cena rejsu obejmuje wyżywienie na pokładzie w systemie kolacji zmianowych, tzn. kolacje odbywają się w dwóch turach: o 19:00 i 21:00. Goście kabin klasy Aurea mają możliwość jedzenia kolacji o dowolnej porze. Bufet jest otwarty przez 20 godzin na dobę.

The Bella experience doesn’t allow the choice of the cabin. It is not possible to choose cabin or deck. The cabin will be assigned afterwards by MSC (within 4 days before departure) according to Bella typology booked (Bella Inside, Bella Ocean View or Bella Balcony). The final cabin assigned will be of same typology. In case the same typology will not be available an higher category cabin will be assigned. For all Bella categories an obstruct view could be assigned and on World class ships a Balcony with Promenade View. For reservations with more than 2 passengers, if cabins with more than 2 beds (triple, quadruple, ….) are not available, MSC will assign 2 cabins same deck and same side.

Everything was wonderful! The service was excellent, the staff were absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and enjoying our holiday. Although the weather was very hot, there were plenty of activities onboard, so the heat was hardly noticeable. There were also swimming pools filled with seawater.
