During excursions, guests benefit from the AMADEUS digital audio system, ensuring a comfortable guided experience.

CHILDREN / MINORS

Due to the specific nature of cruise programs, special conditions apply to bookings involving children and minors:

For children under 8 (eight) years of age, prior approval from the carrier must be obtained before making a booking. Without such approval, participation in the cruise is not permitted.

Minors under 16 (sixteen) years of age must travel accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or another responsible adult over 21 years old; in all cases, accommodation must be in the same cabin as the accompanying person.

The accompanying person bears full and unconditional responsibility for supervision throughout the entire cruise, including shore excursions, particularly with regard to ensuring safety.

Every morning, before dawn breaks the horizon, bakers all over Europe begin their day by preparing bread dough and honoring age-old traditions that have been distinctly tied to their region’s heritage for centuries. Bauernbrot. Kaiser rolls. Pumpernickel. Croissant. Brioche. These recipes have been passed from generation to generation, and over the years, very little has changed. Onboard every AMADEUS river cruise ship, our bakers are hard at work doing exactly the same. Every day, with every course, a bounty of freshly baked bread and rolls are offered, representing our European heritage, customs and culture. 

Masterful: Our Wine Selection

The rivers we travel on are a fundamental component in cultivating ideal conditions to produce memorable wines. AMADEUS’ head chef expertly selects premium wines directly from local vineyards to complement our region-influenced menus. Stunning red and whites are paired with each meal, and an à la carte collection is stored onboard for the passenger who prefers to choose a personal favorite, or try something exciting and new.

The cruise company recommends to have three types of clothing during the trip:

for recreation and sports (casual);

clothes and shoes for excursions, depending on the season and route features (sport and casual);

elegant clothes for evening visits to restaurants and evening events: shows, casinos, clubs, bars (smart casual "more strict" and formal "strict").

During the evening events, the cruise company does not welcome a beach clothes.
